Marin Moonlight Run Race Day Information

The Marin Moonlight Run begins at 8:00PM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 on the SF Bay Trail in Novato, CA.  Ample free parking is located in the parking area of the Hamilton Business Park, but we encourage you to carpool with other runners.

Check in and Bib Pickup: 

6:30PM - 7:45PM. Please arrive and check in at least 30 minutes before the start of your event.

Course Markings:

• The course will be marked with glow sticks approximately every 100 yards.
  
• WE ENCOURAGE ALL RUNNERS TO WEAR A HEADLAMP OR CARRY A FLASHLIGHT.
  
• There will be race marshals at all major turns to guide runners.
  

Common Courtesy:

Please be courteous on the trail. The trails are not for the exclusive use of runners so announce "on your left" as you approach any runner, hiker or bicyclist.

Headphones:

Headphones are not permitted any time during the race for the safety of you and the other runners on the course.

Dogs:

No dogs are allowed on the course at any time and please do not leave your pets in the vehicle during the race.

Aid stations:

There will be one fully stocked aid station at the start/finish area and there will be one station with water, sports drinks and/or various snacks at approximately mile 3 for the 10K runners.  IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT RUNNERS CARRY AT LEAST 16 OZ OF WATER.

Bathrooms:

Toilets are available at the start/finish area only.  The race is in a protected wilderness area people!

Shirts:

All registered runners will receive a technical fabric shirt with a custom race design for this particular event.  The shirts are made from a soft moisture-wicking fabric and are short sleeved.  To be guaranteed your shirt size, you must register by August 31, 2022.

Awards:

Custom awards will be given to the overall winners (male and female) of each distance as well as to the winners of each age group for both males and females.
